To play with a friend, enter a room name. If the room does not exist, it will be created. If the room exists, you will join it.
Other players can join your room by inputting its name.
In Battleships, the aim is to sink all of your opponent's ships. Each player has 5 ships of length 5, 4, 3, 3, and 2. If playing against a friend, just type your name and the room name and click play.
On your turn, to attack, click a square on your opponent's grid (on the right). If you miss, a small grey circle will appear. If you hit, a red 'x' will appear and you will get another go. If you manage to sink a ship, skulls will appear over the ship to show it has sunk.
Once a player has sunk all their opponent's ships, the winner will get 1 point and the game will end. To rematch your opponent, just click 'Rematch' and a rematch will start for both players. To quit, just click 'Home' on the rematch menu or the house icon in the top left corner.
